Homework: 

Write a story about what animals at the zoo are planning to do when the zookeepers go home.

--The story should be about 1 page long.

--Use animal vocab and the future tense in this story. It does not have to be ALL in future tense or limited to the animals that are in the chapter, you can even look animals up if you want to, but the future tense must be used, since the focus of the story is what WILL they do once the humans all go away. I'm not going to give you a number you must use, but that's what you should try to use as much as possible.

--Make sure you use some pronouns rather than repeating everything

--You can be as creative as you wish. This can be written like a screen play, or a murder mystery, or a children's book. Funny or Crazy or Ho-hum, just as long as you are writing in Spanish. If you want to do it as an audio reading/video presentation, I still want to see the script you used to create the performance.

Conjugate all our new vocab verbs with definitions in the present, preterite tense, and the four command forms: formal, plural, informal, negative informal. Be sure to pay close attention to your "yo" forms and the formal commands in light of this chapter's teachings. You can use your 501 verb book to check your answers, but try to do it on your own first THEN check.

1. p. 258 Act. J - Translate into Spanish (GO OVER more than once, check every single word, ending, placement to be sure you have the right "pieces" in the right spots like a puzzle.)

2. p. 260 Write a sentence for each vocab bolded word under #3

3. If you did the video extra credit, you do not have to do this one, but if you didn't, it's now an assignment for normal points. 

Watch the following video and look at the practice worksheet and write out the Spanish translations. Then look at the answers and make sure you are right. Then say them a couple times to yourself. Once you've done that and it rolls off the tongue, call me and read it aloud to me on the Spanish voicemail number.
