Friday 8/28 Homework

Put 26 blank lined pages in your notebook to use for your own personal dictionary. So label each page A, B, C, etc.

Finish your Newspaper Article if you didn't finish it in class. Remember that you're using past tense verbs and that my verbs were conjugated to talk about "I" and you'll need to change it to the appropriate verb tense in your article. Make up an introductory sentence and conclusion sentence of your own making.

Here were my answers to the "reporters":

Lunes – Fijé mi carro negro.
Martes – Trabajé en la ciudad con el policía.
Miercoles – Traté de volar, pero no puedo porque soy un hombre.
Jueves –Visité con mi amigo Robin.
Viernes – Miré mis computadores que están en mi cuevo.
Sabado – Hablé con Alfred sobre de que no me gustan malas personas.
Domingo – No escuché en la iglesia porque una persona que siempre habla en preguntas trató de matar todas las personas en la iglesia. Llamé a la policía.

Tues 8/25 Homework

Here are the verbs for the homework: cambiar, tirar, besar, nadar, matar, usar, aprender, pretender, abrir, asistir, recibir, escribir

Look up any verbs you don't know in a dictionary and write a past tense sentence using the verb.

Don't simply write a conjugated verb even though it is technically a sentence, I want you to add detail using vocabulary you know.

So don't write in Spanish.
"I walked." but rather "I walked with my brother on the table."

Pull up a tab for this website:

https://snipboard.io/

Follow the directions on the site. You can crop the picture as you wish, use the crop icon, highlight what you want to keep, click the checkmark to say you want to crop, then copy the link that is generated in the upper left corner (it's circled in red below). You can check if it shows me what you want to show me by pasting it in a new tab in your browser and looking at it. Then simply send me that link by email. (My emails is rmjagears@gmail.com)

HOMESCHOOL KIDS - Send me a screenshot of anything you want on your computer to prove you figured this item out. Pictures of adorable animals would work, you could use the pen feature and write the spanish word for that animal on the screenshot that you send me to make this Spanishy. :)

REVIEW FOR FAITH ACADEMY STUDENTS ONLY

Watch this video to learn your colors, then practice with flashcards below:

Here is how we do flashcards:

Practice your Colors cards. Choose "Start Study Session." On the next page, you can choose if you want the term first and then the definition or the other way around. (For us in Spanish, term is Spanish, definition is the word in English.) The rest you can leave alone. Press "Start Session" at the bottom.)

If you didn't know the answer, click "Repeat card later" and it'll go back in the "pile."

When you think you can get a good grade on being quizzed on these words. Choose "Play a game" instead of "Start Study Session"

Then choose "Quiz Me" and start Game.

Then when you finish all the cards it will say "Start Over" in the upper right corner, and your grade is in the middle. If you're happy with that grade (you are permitted to do it over again.) Print your screen and send that to me for your grade. I need to see the NAME OF THE CARDS and THE PERCENTAGE in your screen shot.

Please send me a screenshot of your colors quiz result for you to prove to me that you found the website and figured out how to do the screenshare instructions from up above. :)
